ACCESS Marketing Services Ends Year on High Note

Brings Home TWO 2019 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards


 

WASHINGTON, DC, Dec. 23, 2019 – ACCESS Marketing Services ends its year on a high note, picking up two silver 2019 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards, including for Public Service/Advocacy campaign and Best Web Video. Contributing to the winning campaigns was ACCESS’s partner, REAL Strategies.

“We’re thrilled to win on issues for our clients—getting recognized for our efforts by the industry is icing on the cake,” said ACCESS CEO Greg Adams. “These wins help recognize what we do every day for our clients—which is to leverage the best data, understand what it’s telling you, craft your message accordingly, and engage the right people the way they want to be communicated with, in order to produce the best results for our clients. That’s what the MEAs are all about.”

The award-winning campaign in the Pubic Service/Advocacy category was an advocacy program to help promote First-Time Homebuyer Savings Accounts in the state of Michigan. It included multiple tactics coming together under a cohesive theme, including postcards, online ads, and a radio ad, as well as collateral promoting an Advocacy Day, including a logo, online and geo-fenced ads, a palm card, and more. The winning entry in the Best Web Video category was in support of the Tim Walz for Minnesota Governor campaign. You can see that video here.

“Marrying creativity and effectiveness can be a difficult task, especially for a public education campaign,” said Rebecca Jami, COO of ACCESS. “Being recognized with two Marketing Effectiveness Awards is nice way to end the year.”

The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award is unique to other award programs because it reinforces that the goal of marketing communications is to change, influence or reinforce an audience’s knowledge, attitudes, or beliefs. Using this premise as a basis for its judging criteria, the competition leverages a blind judging process and an international judging panel. In 2019, judges received submissions from 10 countries and selected only 6% to receive an award.
